Britt Davenport started fly fishing in 2012 and tying shortly thereafter.   Early on, she helped coordinate fly tyers for the North Idaho Fly Fishing Expo where she lives in Lewiston, Idaho. This was her first experience with “fancy flies.”  Tyers from the Guild would come over and demonstrate tying these beautiful works of art.  She knew that someday, she would venture down that path.   Fast forward to February of 2022- she was scrolling through Instagram and saw a Delta style fly with beautiful married wings and intricate details.  It was like a light bulb turned on and down the rabbit hole she went.  She started going to the NWASFG meetings and learning all she could about the techniques and materials. One of her favorite things about fly tying is there is always more to learn.
